Agreement to these terms
By creating an account or using Calwell, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy; if you do not agree, please do not use the app. The English and Arabic versions carry equal weight, and nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that the law of your country does not allow to be waived.

Calwell is published under the name Aldoo by an individual, not a company, and your agreement is with that person.

Not medical advice
Calwell is a general wellness app, not a medical device, and it doesn’t diagnose or treat any condition. Its plans, targets and estimates are general information based on what you tell it, so check with a doctor or dietitian before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or have had an eating disorder. Nutrition figures are estimates; if you feel unwell, stop and get medical help.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding agreement to use Calwell. The app is not made for children.
Your account
You can sign in with Google or your email address, and you are responsible for keeping your account secure and for what happens under it. Use one account per person. You can delete your account at any time in the app or on our account deletion page.
Subscriptions, billing and refunds
Every new account gets its first 24 hours free, without the AI features, and subscribing after that is optional; without a subscription you keep today’s plan and food search logging for your first 7 days. Calwell Premium is billed by Apple or Google, monthly (charged straight away) or yearly (after a 3-day free trial), and renews automatically unless you cancel in your store settings at least 24 hours before the period ends.
We do not issue refunds ourselves; refund requests go to Apple or Google under their policies. If a payment fails, Premium ends until it is paid.
AI features
Meal logging by photo, voice or text uses an AI service provider to estimate what you ate. The results are estimates, so check them before saving; we do not store the photo or recording.
Your content
What you add to Calwell stays yours, and you let us store and use it only to run the app for you. We do not sell your content or use it to train AI models.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Calwell: no unlawful use, no attempts to access other people’s data or get round our security, limits or paywall, and no copying or scraping of our data. You must not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble or try to extract the app’s source code.
Our intellectual property
The app, its content and its food data belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app while these terms apply.
Third-party services
Calwell relies on services such as the app stores, sign-in providers and health platforms, whose own terms apply to what they do. We are not responsible for how they run their services.
Disclaimers
We provide Calwell “as is” and “as available”, and to the extent the law allows we do not promise it will always be available, error-free or accurate for you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions you make based on the app, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Indemnification
If a claim is brought against us because you broke these terms or misused the app, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from it, to the extent the law allows.
Changes and termination
We may change or remove features, and we may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. You can stop at any time by deleting your account; this does not cancel a store subscription.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using Calwell afterwards, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes go to the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
